Went out a while back with my pal Alec and did some bugging for LM Bass in an outer Cape pond. We got many nice bass, but the corker was caught by Alec. Here he is with the hog.

I haven't seen a Large Mouth that size for a long time.

There were a couple of ponds on a farm in Colorado that I used to fish (with permission of the land owner - best not to get shot) that held fish like that.

I miss ripping a big deer hair bug across a mirror flat pond and watching it vanish into the LMB toilet flush.

Nice report and nice fish. Most folks who don't live on or near the Cape don't realize what a long seaon the area has for warmwater fishing - though the water does get cold and even freezes - but nothing water bodies on the mainland.
